About PCS Pantry

Welcome! I’m Lexi

I’m a military spouse and new mom navigating life one PCS at a time, and if you’ve ever felt lost in a grocery store at a new duty station—trust me, I’ve been there! When we moved to Okinawa, I quickly realized that finding organic, grass-fed, and minimally processed food wasn’t as easy as back home. On-base prices were high, and off-base labels were confusing.

That’s why I started PCS Pantry—a guide to help fellow military families shop more mindfully, find healthier alternatives, and feel confident navigating grocery stores both on and off base.

What You’ll Find Here

✔ Mindful Grocery Shopping – Where to find organic, pasture-raised, and additive-free foods
✔ Decoding Japanese Labels – A guide to understanding food and household products
✔ Eco-Friendly & Clean Living – Non-toxic household swaps, DIY recipes, and sustainability tips
✔ PCS-Friendly Resources – Printable guides, shopping lists, and recommendations for every duty station, starting with Okinawa

Why This Matters

As military families, we move often, but that doesn’t mean we have to sacrifice our health and sustainability goals. My goal is to make each new location feel a little more like home—starting with what’s in your pantry.

Thanks for being here! Let’s make mindful shopping easier—no matter where the military sends us.
